Job Description:

IBM Global Business Services (GBS) Application Innovation Services (AIS) has established a team of Enterprise Asset Management thought leaders and experts. The focus of this team is developing solutions and delivering Enterprise Asset Management programs for our clients.

The Maximo Data Migration Consultant is responsible for the architecture and modeling of business data into Maximo database design and schemas.

Additional responsibilities include:

·  Analyze business requirements and business processes to transform them into logical and physical data models

·  Apply normalization modeling techniques for the Maximo data models

·  Prepare logical and physical data models based on the requirements

·  Understand and have experience in working with relational databases

·  Develop SQL scripts and work with either Oracle, SQL Server or DB2 databases

·  Work with development Database Administrators (DBAs) to generate schemas, physical databases, table structures and indexes

·  Work with architects to play an active role in developing system architecture ensuring that data models are represented adequately

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 2 years experience in detailed design and hands on implementation of large scale data models for Maximo databases
• At least 2 years experience in logical and physical data modeling, taking in to account both functional and non-functional requirements
• At least 2 years experience in using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) or Maximo Data Loader (MDL) to load data into Maximo
• Basic knowledge in design and implementation of data loading and transformation
• Basic knowledge in SQL scripting
• Basic knowledge in Maximo data models
• Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
• English: Intermediate

Preferred

• At least 4 years experience in detailed design and hands on implementation of large scale data models for Maximo databases 
• At least 4 years experience in logical and physical data modeling, taking in to account both functional and non-functional requirements
  • At least 4 years experience in using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) or Maximo Data Loader (MDL) to load data into Maximo
  • At least 2 years experience in design and implementation of data loading and transformation
  • At least 2 years experience in SQL scripting
  • At least 2 years experience in Maximo data models
  • At least 2 years experience in Using IBM InfoSphere DataStage
  • English : Fluent
