Job Description:
The Extract, Transform, Load (ETL)
Developer is responsible for the development of ETL code. The ETL Developer
will collaborate with the client and IBM Project teams to design and develop
ETL code to load large amounts of data from other internal data sources to the
system.
In addition, the ETL Developer will be responsible for designing/developing ETL Interfaces using the Informatica tool; implementing an Informatica-based ETL solution fulfilling stringent performance requirements; developing/implementing the coding of Informatica mappings for different stages of ETL; designing/coding/unit testing of ETL packages, triggers, and stored procedures, views, SQL transactions; understanding/complying with development standards and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure consistency across the project; and collaborating with project teams.
U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency is required for clearance application.
Consultants will be located in an IBM office in the metropolitan area or at an IBM client site. Selected candidates may not need to travel for all projects outside of their metro area. However, all candidates must be able and willing to travel based on assigned project demand. Travel requirements may vary but could be up to 100%. Candidates are not able to refuse project based on travel.

- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 3 years experience in Informatica Power Center
- At least 3 years experience in PostGres SQL and SQL
- At least 3 years experience in ETL development and process from diverse data sources
- At least 2 years experience in Informatica Power Exchange
- At least 2 years experience in Data Warehouse
- At least 2 years experience in Oracle
- At least 2 years experience in Linux
- At least 2 years experience in AIX
- Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- Security clearance of MBI
- English : Intermediate
