Job Description:
The Actuarial Analytics Modeling Subject
Matter Expert (SME) will provide modeling oversight and guidance to a team of
modelers and engaging hands-on with the models SAS as necessary. The SME will
also be responsible for evaluating model performance and suggest modeling
techniques to improve performance, as well as managing staff and projects.
Candidates must be willing and able to qualify and pass security, the basic clearance processes required by most federal agencies.
Consultants will be located in an IBM office in the metropolitan area or at an IBM client site. Selected candidates may not need to travel for all projects outside of their metro area. However, all candidates must be able and willing to travel based on assigned project demand. Travel requirements may vary but could be up to 100%. Candidates are not able to refuse project based on travel.

- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years experience in Data analytics
- At least 3 years experience in Developing predictive models
- At least 2 years experience in Working with SAS in a professional environment
- At least 2 years experience in Using SAS macro language and PROC SQL
- At least 3 years experience in Working with data in a professional environment
- At least 3 years experience in Working with Excel
- At least 3 years experience in Managing analytical projects and interacting with clients
- Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
- At least 7 years experience in Data analytics
- At least 7 years experience in Developing predictive models
- At least 4 years experience in Working with SAS in a professional environment
- At least 4 years experience in Using SAS macro language and PROC SQL
- At least 5 years experience in Working with data in a professional environment
- At least 7 years experience in Working with Excel
- At least 2 years experience in The healthcare industry
- English : Intermediate
