Job Description:
The Integrated Health Services Program Manager/Analyst role is defined
as a thought leader with a portfolio of work showing knowledge in some
of the following areas: Population Health Management, Public Health,
Healthcare Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Occupational Health and
Safety, and related disciplines.
The Program Manager/Analyst be
adept at dealing with complex and competing priorities and will able to
collaborate and partner with a wide range of global internal and
external stakeholders and partners.
In this role you will be responsible for:
• Supporting the Integrated Health Services’ (IHS) Leadership Team in driving and implementing the global strategy
•
Developing and implementing healthcare, population health, public
health, healthcare analytics, occupational and health and safety
strategies to improve current IHS global processes, service delivery ,
integration and operational models
• Performing research, data
gathering, and fact-based quantitative analysis, (charts, analyses,
presentations, reports) for internal and external use
• Developing
and leading the implementation of transformational global initiatives
that enable IHS to realize greater organizational efficiency
• Interfacing and communicating with global IBM teams: Human Resources, Legal, Health Benefits and Finance
•
Providing leadership to cross functional global teams and end-to-end
project management on complex population health, public health,
healthcare analytics, and occupational health and safety projects.
This
position will need an awareness of the public health, population
health, occupational health and safety including experience and
background in project management, data analysis and analytics. It has
responsibility for implementing IBM’s Integrated Health Services’ global
population health and safety initiatives.
The person in this role will:
•
Provide guidance, technical consultation to the IHS Leadership Team and
global teams addressing local health priorities, focusing on health,
safety, healthcare quality and meeting country legal and regulatory
requirements
• Collaboration with IHS global Leadership Team to
allocate employee and financial resources in a manner that best meets
organizational needs
• Use fact-based analytics and strategic
insights to help drive initiatives focused on improving the health and
safety of IBM employees, meeting legal/regulatory requirements and
improving the operational efficiency of the global organization
•
Define and structure initiatives, lead teams and work closely with IHS
leadership to ensure initiatives lead to a definable impact and become
operational in the overall organization.
• Analyze organizational
issues through framework-led approaches to distill key insights and help
formulate recommendations and solutions
• Structure work activities
and drive work streams/teams on special projects, communicating
effectively with team members to define project scope, outputs and
phased approaches to achieving project objectives.
• Accept
accountability for organizational results including meeting
productivity, process, financial, and other performance measurements.
• Prepare reports, proposals and presentations for delivery to internal and external stakeholders and organizations
•
Lead and participate in organization strategic planning, providing
leadership and support to ensure that organizational objectives are met.
•
Interacts and maintains professional relationships with key opinion
leaders, regulatory authorities, public health, occupational health and
safety agencies, governmental agencies, health advocacy groups, public
and private organizations of strategic importance to Integrated Health
Services
Bachelors Degree in any of the following is required:
Public Health, Population Health Management, Healthcare Administration,
Occupational Health, Healthcare Analytics, Human Resources. A Masters
Degree is preferred.

- At least 2 years experience in managing complex projects and multiple projects simultaneously
- At least 2 years experience in performing strategic planning
- At least 2 years experience in healthcare analytics
- At least 2 years experience in data analysis or statistics
- Readiness to travel 25% travel annually
- English: Fluent
