Job Description:
The Learning / Skills Consultant will analyze skill assessment data, determine the gaps in proficiency and will be required to locate and document education / learning paths for employee skill gap closure.
This role will utilize corporate applications, custom-designed Lotus Notes (LN) database for skill assessment, as well as Talent@IBM and other internal and external tools to research and locate skills-based learning solutions.
Responsibilities include:
loading information
into Lotus Notes and a Web-based tool that gives IBMers the ability to
track their progress in completing custom-built learning plans
helping managers as needed to assist in using and managing the Lotus Notes database
attend virtual meetings and perform other duties as requested
The Learning / Skills Consultant role requires experience in an IT setting and training solutions, and have the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Lotus Notes and the Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as have the ability to effectively multi-task, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure. Required

- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5 years experience in education development and guidance
- English: Fluent
- At least 2 years experience in an IT setting and training solutions
- At least 1 year experience in Lotus Notes and the Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- At least 2 years experience in Cognos / Data Analysis
