ob description This is a hands-on
technical position that will join a team of Deliverability & Provisioning
specialist's. This role is responsible for the design, deployment, and
maintenance of systems within these teams. This individual will fully support the
production platform running Ruby and Java on Linux, Oracle and windows servers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Development/maintenance of existing dashboards developed in Ruby/Java.
2. This position will work with other system administrators for scoping, sizing, capacity planning, hardware upgrades and OS upgrades as needed.
2. Work jointly with Database Administrators, Application Team, Network Operations Center, and Information Security for day-to-day support of production and non-production systems
3. Develop scripts using Ruby, Java, shell, Perl, and PHP
4. Monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of all production and non-production systems
Qualifications and Experience:
· Minimum of six (6) years of experience in a related field
· Demonstrated written and verbal skills
· Demonstarted Ruby, Java and Oracle administration/troubleshooting skills
· Demonstrated Linux/Solaris/Windows OS administration/troubleshooting skills
· DB2 knowledge a plus!
· System level programming in Shell/Perl scripting
· Demonstrated experience in systems and problem solving. Required

- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 1 year experience in related work bridging requirements communications between clients and development teams.
- At least 1 year experience in Develop scripts using Ruby, Java, shell, Perl, and PHP
- At least 1 year experience in understanding of database design principles with Oracle, including table creation, stored procedures development, cross-database development.
- At least 1 year experience in Linux/Solaris/Windows OS administration/troubleshooting skills
- Readiness to travel 10% travel annually
- English: Fluent
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology
- At least 5 years experience in related work bridging requirements communications between clients and development teams.
- At least 3 years experience in Develop scripts using Ruby, Java, shell, Perl, and PHP
- At least 2 years experience in understanding of database design principles with Oracle, including table creation, stored procedures development, cross-database development.
