Job Description:
The Informatica Extract, Transform,
Load (ETL) Developer is part of the Technical Services Development Team within
the Business Analytics Service Area at the Client Center for Advanced Analytics
in Dublin Ohio.
The IBM Client Center for Advanced
Analytics mission is to design, build implement and support differentiated,
advanced analytics solutions for clients in a wide variety of industries.
Crucial to this mission is the center’s development and implementation of
leading edge analytics solutions, and nurturing new talent for the center and
broader community. The center will serve as an intellectual hub for solutions –
uniting clients, analytics Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), researchers,
academics from the area and analytics experts from industry.
The Informatica ETL Developer is
responsible for successful development of ETL solutions and conducts data
mapping, designs, develops and implements ETL process and tools. In this role,
the Developer is responsible for successful delivery of technology initiatives.
The Developer will be expected to move and migrate data from the operational
and external environments to the Business Intelligence environment using
Informatica. The Developer understands business challenges and translates them
into process and technical solutions, as well as manages client relationships
within the individual role.
IBM Office location is in Columbus,
OH, but consultant must be willing to travel up to 100% as client demands
require.

- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 6 months experience in the understanding of data warehouse processes
- At least 6 months experience in ETL application development
- At least 6 months experience in technical requirement definition and data mapping (source to target)
- At least 6 months experience in hands-on technology experience in data warehouse projects
- At least 6 months experience in hands-on developed project deliverables using formal / structured methodology
- At least 6 months experience in the understanding of Informatica ETL tools
- Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
- English: Intermediate
Preferred
- Master's Degree in Information Technology
- At least 2 years experience in the understanding of data warehouse processes
- At least 2 years experience in ETL application development
- At least 2 years experience in technical requirement definition and data mapping (source to target)
- At least 2 years experience in hands-on technology experience in data warehouse projects
- At least 2 years experience in hands-on developed project deliverables using formal / structured methodology
- At least 1 year experience in the understanding of Informatica ETL tools
- English : Fluent
