Job Description:

The Senior Data Warehouse Developer will be responsible for converting business requirements into technical design and developing Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solutions.

The Senior Data Warehouse Developer will be required to design star schemas (dimensional schemas), map transactional databases to star schema designs and developing Extract Transform Load (ETL) code in PL/SQL and SQL.

The Senior Data Warehouse Developer should have some understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and should be able to interact easily with Business Intelligence Developers.

Consultants will be located in an IBM office in the metropolitan area or at an IBM client site.

Selected candidates may not need to travel for all projects outside of their metro area. However, all candidates must be able and willing to travel based on assigned project demand. Travel requirements may vary but could be up to 100%. Candidates are not able to refuse project based on travel.

• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 3 years experience in (ETL) Development
• At least 3 years experience in SQL Loader, Data Integrator or other (ETL) tools
• At least 3 years experience in Date Warehouse
• Certified in Training and Certification in Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL and SQL or other Oracle Technology Training
• Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
• U.S. citizenship required
• English: Basic knowledge

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 8 years experience in (ETL) Development
• At least 8 years experience in SQL Loader, Data Integrator or other (ETL) tools
• At least 8 years experience in Date Warehouse
• At least 3 years experience in identifying, documenting, working with requirements
• At least 3 years experience in with Rational Tools
• At least 2 years experience in Business Objects
• At least 2 years experience in Database Administrator roles
• At least 2 years experience in SharePlex
• At least 1 year experience in Business Intelligence tools
• Security clearance of MBI
• English : Intermediate
